A return visit to Hall Place, which is a a Grade I listed country house in Bexley, built in 1537 for Sir John Champneys, a wealthy merchant and former Lord Mayor of London. Much of the house that Sir John built still survives today - this is a side elevation, with extensive topiary in the grounds.
