Market Day again by peadar

Market Day again

I picked up these in the market yesterday. I thought I would try a similar shot to yesterday, but with some differences, most notably the lens.

Many thanks for all your comments and Favs on recent shots, particularly yesterday. I appreciate every one of them.

Later edit: Thanks, Felicity, now tagged for the white-on-white challenge.
Lovely colours on the white background, I have no idea how you get that focus but I love it

They're standing beautifully to attention! Have you seen the white on white technique challenge?

Another winner. I like how you've composed this with the stalks standing to attention.

@suzanne234 Suzanne - you can do this with your camera (I promise). You can search online for "[your camera name] aperture priority" or similar and there are lots of resources available to help, including Youtube masterclasses.

@flowerfairyann Ann, thanks. Those few months spent in the Army many years ago certainly did the trick!!!

@peadar I have watched quite a lot as you suggested and I think I am getting slightly to grips with it, some things it seems to work beautifully on, others, not so! Maybe its just pot luck! I shall continue to read and watch as much as I can.

@suzanne234 You managed it perfectly on your shot "Poppy Corn" (link for others here: https://365project.org/suzanne234/365/2017-07-10 ). Not sure whether that was planned or not, but it certainly worked!

You mentioned this is a different lens. Which lens is this? And the other? Thank you

Nice shot

@caterina Caterina, this was taken on the Canon EF50mm f/1.8 II. Yesterday's shot was taken on the Canon EF17-40mm f/4L USM. Hope this helps?
