Since taking that earlier shot, contractors have completed installing the lights on the central divider, so I couldn't take up exactly the same spot as there was a dirty great light stand in the way!
The narrative from the earlier shot gives you details of the junction. In short, this is junction 2 of the M25 London Orbital motorway.
Many thanks for all of your comments, suggestions and favs over recent days. I really appreciate them all.
Techie note: the bridge was vibrating so much (from the traffic) that you can see the effect in some of the light trails. Selecting a longer exposure (to try to get continuous beads of light) only exacerbated the problem, so this one is a bit of a compromise. And it was the only one (out of 30 or so) that had traffic on all 6 carriageways!
Nice trails. Not easy to find the right road. M25 is kind of far from here.😁 But sooner or later I will try! I see what you mean: the interrupted trails are due to the not so long exposure in order to avoid the shaking? Fine anyway, without your prompting I wouldn't have noticed
@caterina Thanks for the comments. On your question, the answer is yes. More important for me was to get the traffic on all the carriageways - as always, looking at it now I can see lots of things I would wish to do better. That means there must be a next time!
Fantastic. I must try this one day. Not much traffic where I live though. You are lucky if you get a chap on a bike at night and they don't seem to have lights on their bikes either.
