The Divine Comedy by peadar

The Divine Comedy

Back home for the weekend, and surrounded by all those comfort things like books, music, familiar structures and, of course, my trusty camera!

Many thanks for your comments and favs over the past few days - really very much appreciated.
Nice focus and tones

Love the DOF. The Divine Comedy song for the weekend is always played on our local radio on the Friday drive time teatime show to start of a series of requests for an hour as I am often driving home for the weekend. Now have it humming in my head. Hope yours is a good one!!

So many books I have read and studied! Our library overflows and has to be culled now and then as all three of us are bookaholics. Can't stand reading a book from a screen, it has to be paper in my hand. A book makes you feel at home even when you're not.

The Divine Comedy! Not an easy reading to come back to for the week end! I can sympathize with your feeling of relief in coming home after a week away. I have done it for more than 20 years! Enjoy!

@caterina Goodness gracious, 20 years. What's the secret to staying sane? Live in Italy, I suppose! 😎

I definitely prefer the Austen and Bronte books!

@peadar Is it a definitive position? I bought an apartment and lived the city as much as I could. But now I'm glad I don't need to do it anymore

@caterina Yes, I'm in the process of doing the same. I suppose you have to follow the work, don't you?...

@peadar Yes. If you think it's a good opportunity, as it was in my case

Must be difficult to be away all week. I got used to it when David was in the RAF. The only difference was he used to disappear for weeks on end and most of the time we wouldn't even know where he was.

@onewing Now that must have been tough.
