London old and new

A view across the River Thames. The bridge is Blackfriars Bridge. Centre background is St Paul's Cathedral, which sits on one of the old City's hills - Ludgate Hill. To the right are the new towers of the old City financial district.

This is a very nice image, good contrast between the light and darker parts. I also like the red parts at the river line.

I like the differences between the stone and glass/steel buildings, and the cranes. St. Paul's is almost dwarved.

Another brilliant cityscape Peter.

A wonderful capture. I like the arms of cranes that create a beautiful pattern.

Wow - you've managed to show so much in this - and to tie it together so nicely sandwiched between the river and the impressive sky.
