Estuary

I headed to the top of the River Wyre (see yesterday's shot) and found a sleepy estuary. Over the other side of the water is Fleetwood, and only a few miles farther south, Blackpool itself. From where I was standing, I could actually see the famous Tower on the horizon. Here, all was calm and quiet. And the sun was weaving its magic on the water...

This really does look better on black, if you have the time and inclination.
