Virgin trains

It was announced this week that Virgin are to lose the franchise for the West Coast Main line service that I use to get to and from work. Here's one of their Class 390 Pendolino locos in profile.

What will happen with the trainschedule now, will another firm be able to “step in” straightaway ?

@momamo Monique, yes, the new franchisee will take over and it should be fairly seamless. I think all the staff and rolling stock transfer over.
