We're back on the Calder & Hebble Navigation; this is a major junction - the canal ahead here leads north to Halifax, the canal behind meanders along the valley floor to Sowerby Bridge, and then onto the Rochdale Canal into Manchester, the lock on the right leads into central Yorkshire. It was an uncharacteristically sunny day!
