With the shorter days it is difficult to get out during daylight hours for photography. So here's an early evening shot of the Rochdale Canal at Hebden Bridge. It's an iconic West Yorkshire town, known nowadays for its artisan crafts and trades.
This is taken on full manual settings on my little baby camera and processed in Lightroom. I've dialled down the clarity and pushed the noise attenuation. It's not perfect, but I hope it conveys the atmosphere.
@caterina Caterina, they always give such a lot of opportunity for nice images. You may not know that we reference our own canals by reference to Venice. So, in London is an area around the Grand Union Canal known as "Little Venice"... there are many other references...
