Canal Wharf

You may know "wharf" derives from "warehouse at the river front", but they have them on canals too! This is the Calder & Hebble Navigation at Elland, south of Halifax, West Yorkshire. Processed in line with recent "Yorkshire series" shots: desaturated, but warm white balance, slightly higher contrast, shadows rescued here in Lightroom. I couldn't do anything with the blown sky, I'm afraid! Best viewed on black.
