Well, we had to buy something to remember the recent holiday. Usually what happens is that we spend all holiday prevaricating about what to buy (or not), end up buying nothing, then panic and buy gaudy souvenirs from the airport on the way home. This time, we bought something mid-holiday - I think that's progress!
