This marvellous building was opened in 1899 as a hospital chapel. The hospital was eventually closed in 2001 and the land given over to residential development. The Chapel is now a gym - still a temple of sorts, then.
What a wonderful way to reuse sacred space.
Since we are in the process of trying to sell our old church building this idea really appeals to me.
