blind shadow by peadar

blind shadow

Long day on Friday - went to see Les Miserables (the film, not the show - absolutely fantastic!) so missed a shot. Took this the day after, another for the weekly theme.

After posting, noticed this was my 500th photo (between the two albums)!!!

Later edit: a B&W version here: http://365project.org/peadar/extras/2013-01-25 (thanks to Mick - @bluefirebucket )

Thanks for all your recent comments - I am woefully behind on commenting on all your great shots, I will catch up soon!
Nice composition, love the shadows. Congrats on number 500!

I really like this shot Peter its very creative! Congrats on your 500th photo!!
Glad you enjoyed the film, I have seen it twice now, really enjoyed it but after seeing the stage show I thought some of the singing wasn't on par.

What !! Saturday and no food shot from the market ?

Lovely composition, light and colours in this shot.

"Les Mis" is not opening in Germany until late February, I have listened to the soundtrack and am looking forward to seeing it.

@jenniferruge Thanks, Jennifer.
@onewing Babs, have we done the same thing again?
January 26th, 2013
@onewing Of course, I've just had a look and remember your shot. I suppose it must have been sitting there in the back of the mind.

@peadar Spooky! We must be on the same wavelength at times. Sometimes when I ring my sister who lives in the UK, it is evening here and morning there. (They're 11 hours behind) I say sometimes "Shall I tell you what's going to happenen today"! Perhaps that's what is happening here.

I really like the shadows. My favorite is the color. The B&W is good, but seems a little bland.
