One of many public buildings built and provided during the massive increase in population in the London suburbs in the late 19th/early 20th century. This library dates from 1899.

@haskar It's now operated as a "Community Library", run by volunteers, as the Local Authority don't want to keep funding it. It's been closed through lockdowns, of course.
