Clattercote Wharf by peadar

Clattercote Wharf

Today is Day 3 of our trip, and we are heading to Fenny Compton on the southern section of the Oxford Canal. This is Clattercote Wharf, a private wharf offering bespoke narrowboat servicing and repairs. And home-made jam!

Today we have completed 6 miles, with 9 locks, so 15 lock miles.
Ooh home made jam? I'm there! Isn't Clattercote a super name?

Interesting shot, it looks like they might of been in business for a long time.

How lovely and peaceful. I lived in Towcester for quite a while....not too far from Stoke Breune and often went to look at the boats travelling along the canal.

@cutekitty Yes, it is peaceful. We'll be in Braunston in a few days, the traditional heart of the canal network. Thanks.
