Tomorrow morning we hand back the narrowboat which has been our home for the past month. We end the trip wanting more time, which I suppose is always the best way to bring these things to an end. We have really enjoyed our adventure, and I have enjoyed sharing some of the moments with you. We have travelled over 210 miles, and been through 174 locks, so a total of 384 lock-miles, which has taken around 140 hours of cruising. Thanks for sticking with us, and for all your supportive comments.
An idyllic holiday at 4mph! I've loved seeing your photos and seeing names/places I remember from 30 odd years ago, especially the scenes along your route. It's a holiday you'll remember always. Thank you for sharing it.
