Beverley, an ancient market town in the middle of the Yorkshire wolds north of Hull, is dominated by the Minster. The High Altar dates back to the late 700s when a monastery was established here by St John of Beverley. His tomb can be found underneath the nave.
A super shot over the rooftops! If you get chance, there is another really attractive and interesting church at the opposite side of the town centre in Beverley - St Marys Church in North Bar Within.
