GCCS

For the Extras album, this is the Manor at Bletchley Park, home of the Government Code and Cypher School before and during WW2. It was here that the German Enigma codes were broken, on the back of brilliant work by British, Polish and American mathematicians and code-breakers.

I've tried to process in some historical feel to it - it was quite a bright day and there was never a moment when visitors in brightly coloured clothes weren't milling around!

Thank you all for your comments over the past few days, I really appreciate every one!

Lovely shot of a beautiful building. I have been to meetings there, but pre 365!

@fintan Fintan, in Lightroom, I converted to B&W, knocked back clarity (to soften the people), sharpness and sharpness mask, and took off all noise reduction (to make it more grainy), fiddled with the highlights, whites and shadows; not perfect but I think better than the full colour version!
