This is my daughter, Maddie, and her partner Manolis. They have just returned from a trek to Everest Base Camp, and we headed over to their place with a bottle of something to celebrate. I'm just glad I heard some of the stories they had to tell AFTER the event!
Rich colourful stories for their life, and a few more grey bits in the hair for you. But I bet you where not a lot different in your days like most of us we were young and lived life to the full.
They look like a wonderful couple. Radiant. I can imagine your worries as a father! Better hear afterwards how they survived... I’ve travelled to Nepal for our honeymoon but not so high as The famous Basecamp. Must have been a wowy nature trip for the I could imagine!
Love it - my teenage son did that trek last year. Amazing experience though hard work at such altitude. Congrats to them and welcome back to you too - what a delight to have you back!
