Relativity

Big is a relative term. The huge uptown Christmas tree looks rather small from this perspective.
Wonderful shot Peggy. Great perspective.

Fabulous shot, Peggy. That building really puts the tree into perspective. Look at all those windows! Imagine having to clean them all...

Good heavens, what an amazing building, the tree looks so small against it, great picture Peggy

Wow, great perspective Peggy, and it's so grand and beautiful too. I love the color of the sky. Whenever I would visit my sister, she always had to point out the "Carolina Blue" sky, and it's even reflected in all of the windows in the building. Love it!

I like the angle on this.

Thanks, everyone. I didn't feel the least bit self conscious about kneeling on the sidewalk to get the angle shot. In fact, I was surprised at how pedestrians were so willing to stop and wait - or walk around me.

@girlie Some lucky window cleaning outfit got the contract of a lifetime with that building and 64 floors of windows!

@rafaelseno It's thousands of tiny white lights. I'd like to get this same shot at night with the tree and building illuminations.

@petersonsheri North Carolinians are very proud of their amazing blue sky! :)

Wonderful shot, Peggy. Have to agree with all the previous comments - great perspective and wonderful blue sky. Also the perfect geometry of the tree against the perfect geometry of the building is a nice contrast.

Wonderful shot! Beautiful blue and green together.

Love the vibrant, saturated blue you got in the sky. I'm also a sucker for shots from this perspective (worms eye) and how they give a clear sense of scale.
