Awesome focus, detail and color! I have never heard of this flower before...it is beautiful! Very nice neighbors to get you such a lovely Christmas gift!
@petersonsheri Actually, this was a gift from my immediate next door neighbors, Mike and Jeff. Mike, the gardening guru, gave us this amaryllis ~ and Jeff, the party animal, gave us three bottles of very nice wine. The toilet neighbors live further down the street and I really don't know them well enough to exchange gifts...although having the toilets hauled off was a gift in and of itself! :)
@_juliarichards Thanks, Julia...at Christmas time amaryllis bulbs are sold just about everywhere ~ home decor shops, big box home improvement stores, dept stores, even in some grocery stores.
