for Scrappy and for me. The beautiful snowfall from yesterday has turned into an icy, treacherous mess. Scrap's face says it all ~ winter weather sux. :)
Sorry it's gone all gross on ya'll. I only like it from indoors, too. Beautiful the first day and then a pain. Agreed. Fortunately, we missed the ice. Whew. Hopefully, life will be back to normal soon. Cute photo, though. :)
Poor Scrappy! And poor you; such a shortlived pleasure.
Thanks for your words of comfort, Peggy. So far, although the river has broken its banks we're still out of reach. Not so good for the Brisbaneites who are suffering badly.
Scrappy is adorable...the snow just started here...tomorrow I'll be snowed in again! I have terrible cabin fever and it's not even remotely close to Spring....we are in trouble this winter!
I started laughing as soon as I saw Scrappy's face. You're right, his little face definitely says it all. It's like he's saying "what the heck, I live in the south for a reason"!! Great picture Peggy. I hope that things clear up for you soon. We're used to it in Minnesota, but when you aren't, it can be really dangerous.
@kimshawball Oh, Kim...I so hope that Meg finds her way to your backdoor very soon. I hope she just sensed the impending weather and instinctively looked for "higher ground". My fingers are crossed for her safe return.
@petersonsheri Thanks, Sheri! Scrappy and I have both had our fill of winter weather! The snow and ice continue to stick around since it's not been above freezing for days...another no melt day today. :(
@parisouailleurs@cccoupland Merci/Thanks, Helene and Chris ~ I just took a couple of quick shots and then he was in and racing up the stairs to settle in the center of my bed for the rest of the day!
Nice balance of the black and white colors...I think that would be hard to do through a window and your shot is crystal clear! Wow! Hope you are doing well...just watched the news on the east coast last night. Scary when you aren't used to it! Hope your grocery supply run is lasting you! :)
Love the expression on Scrappy's face, I can hear him saying, "let me in the house NOW, woman!" No snow down here, but it is so cold, 22° last night and we are in the deep south. Hope the electricity doesn't go out, we only have electric heat.
So cute! Such beautiful eyes. Looking like he really wants to come into the warm house :) This is a great picture, I love the expression you managed to capture. :)
Thanks for your words of comfort, Peggy. So far, although the river has broken its banks we're still out of reach. Not so good for the Brisbaneites who are suffering badly.
Great photo! The contrasting colors, the look on his face, the footprints in the background, even the title...everything is perfect. I love it!
