Walking through the neighborhood, I noticed how many folks still have their Christmas decorations out. Come on people, today is Beer Can Appreciation Day...it's time to move on. :) It's also Compliment Day ~ so, I will say the houses do look lovely. But still, it seems like past time to take the wreaths down.
Beer can appreciation day? Really? Did you see the Object Challenge presented by Amy Hughes? It's under "Themes and Competitions". The object this week is "can". And since it is compliment day, the wreathed doors are lovely and I am shamed into going out and removing mine . . . right now!
Such a beautiful neighborhood, but seriously, it's time to celebrate the CAN! Hmmm. Maybe that will give me some inspiration for tomorrow. We never seem to have a shortage of those in our recycling bin. :)

Christmas seems to come around so much earlier every year nowadays they probably don't think it's worth taking them down! Really nice collage, Peggy, and the houses look interesting, too.

I love this! I had a poster in college of "The Doors of Chapel HIll" and was thinking about doing something like that around my neighborhood. This is exactly what I was thinking of! What is so amazing is that all these wreaths are still green . . .

Love your humor, Peggy! One year our family kept our tree up until Valentines day and the kids took all the christmas stuff off the tree and decorated it with hearts. This year they were trying to get me to do it again.........no way!! I am with you.
Ha! Too funny and darn, I missed Beer Can Appreciation Day! I just commented the other day on a house that is still lit up with Christmas Lights...go figure! Maybe they're just getting a jump on next year!
