I moved this vase of tulips while I was dusting off the table and when I noticed my scarf hanging behind them I thought it might make a decent photo for today.
I didn't mean that in a bad way (now that I re-read it) but the flowers are stiff and formal, the scarf and rattan seem to "just be there". Am I painting myself even more into a corner here?
I love tulips, and that is a beautiful bunch! Such a pretty color, and they're displayed very nicely against your soft scarf. I remember a few years ago when my Mom had been in NC visiting my sister the week of Valentine's Day, and she brought back a bouquet of Daffodils from my sisters garden. It's only ten days away. You can hope!!
@kerrym Well, I wish I could say I have flowers all around. These were compliments of the floral department of my local Harris Teeter grocery store. There is nothing in bloom in my yard right now...we still have snow in the forecast for next week. It's still full blown winter. Ugh!

For as long as I can remember I've always loved purple & tulips.
