Hydrangea by peggysirk

Hydrangea

My hydrangea can't decide if it wants to be pink or blue...so it has settled on something halfway in between.
Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend. :)
Love this! Glad it had a hard time deciding as these colors are so rich and varied. Have a good weekend too.

These are beautiful! I love Hydrangea. Your picture is so clear that you'd think you could feel the structure of the petals. Love how the rest of the pic is in white colors.

Such a beautiful color Peggy! I tried once to plant one that was supposed to have a blue tint to it, and in order to keep it that way I was supposed to put some kind of mineral in the ground. Unfortunately, it didn't winter. Oh well, I can always count on the good old "snow ball" hydrangea. I bet this is gorgeous on your patio!!

I have one like that, too, Peggy. Must be our soil is dead on neutral. Incredible focus here. Wow!

How gorgeous. Wish I could grow hydrangeas. Too sandy and too alkaline. They are beautiful, Peggy!

Oh beautiful detail! Love hydrangeas but they die on me. My neighbour had a pink one in her front garden and I tried secretly adding iron solution one year to see if I could surprise her by changing it to the blue she craved for. Unfortunately (we still miss her) she didn't live long enough for it to flower again and the new owners of her house dug it up before I could see if it worked! I did tell them they'd ruined my experiment and being from Cornwall which is full of blue hydrangeous they were full of remorse and fed me fudge to make up!!

Beautiful photo. My aunt had gorgeous hydrangeas that I loved at her house. Alas, a new landscape design meant they needed to go. Her house looks beautiful, but I still miss them.
