Ugh!

It's really hot. Think I'll go take a nap. :)

In the spirit of full disclosure, this photo was taken yesterday afternoon when the sun was just beginning to shine directly on the thermometer. The official high in the shade was 100 (38C) degrees. But if one was in the sun the "actual" temperature was 110 as far as I'm concerned. Sun or shade ~ it's just plain hot. :)

@judithg Your forecast is spot on as things stand now, Judith. There's a "cold" front moving in to the eastern US this week with rain showers and much more reasonable temps. Today's high in CLT is supposed to be 101 (39C)...but dropping to 85 (29C) by Wednesday.
