Last night's storms knocked off the last of the leaves that had been valiantly clinging to the wisteria vine along the back garden wall. I like the unpretentiousness of it's stark winter form.
Three good things:
1. Tom made it safely to ATL yesterday evening despite being pounded by rain and wind all the way down I 85.
2. Daughter, Elizabeth, arriving tomorrow for a weekend visit!
3. House is clean, laundry finished, errands done...looking forward to a no cooking, chick flick movie night since I am home alone :)
Stunning in its simplicity. Love the edge you chose for it, too. Thought about Tom all evening - thanks for sharing that he got there safely! Yay for a weekend daughter visit! I will have Saturday alone at home - and a line up on Netflix!
Very nice - so simplistic. Enjoy your movie night. We have been experiencing today the windstorm you had. We have had 100 KM winds all day. It is truly exhausting to constantly hear the wind constantly. I wouldn't want to drive too far in it however. The month of January has been a real experience for us weather wise.
This is a very simple look but the soft colours are very designer friendly! i like your edging too.
Have a great w/e with your daughter...what a treat!
What fun that we're on the same path with the next grand-babies arriving in mid May! Our Ashton (2, last October) will be here this weekend...time for an updated photo. Your Harper is a beauty and always looks so cooperative for the camera. Wish me luck...
@Weezilou Harper is the same age as your Ashton...she was 2 in September. It's getting harder by the day to get a good shot...she's in constant motion. I take dozens of shots in hopes of getting one or two good ones. Sometimes I get lucky. :)
what an artful shot! love that textured background. i'd like a weekend visit from one of my boys about now...have a great visit with Elizabeth. How old is she?
