One of my neighbors has a little garden fence with wonderful little messages attached. This one was speaking to me today when I walked by. :)
Three good things:
1. Brown sugar and balsamic pork loin cooking in the crockpot for supper. It's my daughter's recipe and it smells delicious!!
2. A simply gorgeous late February day
3. After over-exposing most of the photos that I took today, I'm setting aside time this afternoon to review some of the many photography instructional books and DVDs, and notes taken in photography classes, that heretofore have remained untouched. :)
Excellent shot, Peggy! Love that focus on the fence and the shallow dof. I have been reviewing photography books. It gets so overwhelming I don't know where to begin! Good luck.
@happypat Me too, Pat...what's with the camera amnesia?!! I don't even remember what ISO is all about. Everything I knew about photography seems to have been wiped clean from my brain. :(
@barbsmith I have become so lazy with my photography, @barbsmith Barb, a total 'accidental photographer'. I really thought I had some decent shots today, but when I came home and downloaded them I realized how awful they were. Very discouraging...but good motivation to hit the books. :)
Lovely sign and it makes a nice photo. I haven't learned any of these things in the first place, let alone forgotten them. I'm saving for a DSLR so then I will have to learn what I am doing I suppose.
That is such a cool message and a great reminder. It is so nice to live in a friendly neighborhood. Great DOF and so pretty against the green background. I always look forward to reading your 3 good things. #3 is on my list for when I take a break from 365 after my Year 2 ends at the end of March. That along with several photo projects. I need to remember to use my crockpot---that recipe sounds wonderful!
This is a great message and shot Peggy. Oh I am so happy that I am not the only one that the brain goes blank with. It is great to know I am in such good company.. Love you three gratitude theme too. Sometimes we take the little things for granted.
