This wonderfully gnarly Swamp Oak tree was planted in 1894, and looks every bit it's age. It has been designated as one of Charlotte's Treasure Trees...123 trees that have ecological or historical significance. Granddaughter Harper and I think it resembles the Whomping Willow from Harry Potter. :)

Well that is a tree for a story book Peggy....you could weave a great tale around that! I agree with you & Harper! Sounds the perfect meet up with your friend! I expect you didn’t eat much evening meal after that!
