CBS

Another peek into my everyday life. CBS stands for Community Bible Study. I attend one on Monday evenings at Christ Church in nearby Ohio Township. As you can see we are studying the book of Isaiah. I like to do my daily assignments while I'm having my morning coffee. This morning I am just starting the lessons for next Monday. And yes, I am a southpaw ( left handed ). I've been told we are the only ones in our right mind ;-)
Oh what fun, I just posted something similar this morning! Never heard the term southpaw - your quip made me smile.

@casablanca The term southpaw originated as baseball slang for lefties. Baseball stadiums are generally laid out in an east west direction with the pitcher facing the west. Since baseball is meant to be an afternoon or early evening game this orientation is so that the batter does not have to look into the sun as he tries to pick up the pitch and hit the ball. With the pitcher facing west his left arm would be facing south thus the slang term southpaw. I've heard that this slang first originated with one of the Chicago ball clubs. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
