At huge cost I have bought all the equipment to produce a tarte tatin. I have picked 3,000 apples, (estimate) packed, stored, in the correct conditions, but am still waiting, what am I doing wrong?
Ha - love it - maybe a nice coffee in a cafe might help the cause!

I think 3000 apples would be a bit much for one tartin! I would like this peeler to do all the apples! You are making me want to create one myself with my cast iron pan!

@maggiemae A cast iron pan is a must for making tarte tatin. Why not make one, photograph it, post it, because I think other members might join in. no prizes - just fun. But have in mind, tarte tatin in France is serious business. Best of luck.

@jodies I have been promised one for tonight. Why don't you make one and post a photograph, some 365ers have said they will, but as yet no one has done anything, but fingers crossed I will have an entry later on. Watch this space.

I have a peeler like that too- although mine is red. Best apple peeler, corer, and slicer I ever had! I know the Tarte Tatin has come. And now it's probably gone with the coffee!
