British summer time by peterday

British summer time

British summer time begins today, or daylight saving time, as the EU call it. Clocks go forward.
Civil time in the UK will advance one hour of Greenwich Mean Time, until the end of October.
I wish they would leave the clocks alone.
Thanks for the reminder Peter -- I am so looking foreward for the longer daylight in the evenings !

@beryl That is one advantage, but the mornings will be darker. I just wish they would leave things alone. Many thanks for your comments

@jamibann I would never have thought you were the sort of girl who would forget to alter her clocks. Enjoy Mothering Sunday weekend.

@onewing I always thought everybody changed the clocks at the same time, the things you learn on 365 is endless.
