Trio of Pears by pflaume

Trio of Pears

I have been so inspired by the many lovely still life shots here that I decided to give it a try today. This photo allowed me to experiment with all the different WB selections. I was surprised that fluorescent created the most pleasing colors. Anyway, I am happy with the result!
it looks like a painting

@mizhayz Thank you! I had rubbed the surface with some lemon juice so that it wouldn't brown too quickly. I think that helped to up the juiciness.

I agree with above - this would be perfect to put on a small canvas and hang in the kitchen. It is very pretty!!

And so you should be, it's awesome. I love the composition. The grain of the wood is perfect as a back drop for the pears.

Lovely still life, and especially like the juicy bit on the cut surface -- very reassuring that it's a real fruit! Like you, I'm happily being inspired by others on this site, and enjoying playing around with different settings to learn what results come about.
