I always admire the shots taken underneath piers that you coastal dwellers capture. No such opportunity in my landlocked state. But, when I explored under a bridge on a recent walk, I thought I saw a hint of similarity. I tried a long exposure capture of the river water and liked the smooth effect.
You've got a 'pier' shot with a very individual spin to it. Love the colours, textures and perspective.
It reminds me of a log cabin quilt pattern module. Fab. depth, even better viewed large. Fav.
Once again, you have stirred people's imagination with your photography. Great eye to see this as a possible photo, and the results are very interesting.
This is such a lovely shot, the colour of the water, the textures in the wood, the composition, all perfect. I live very far from the sea too but after seeing this I will definitely start looking under more bridges! A fav.

Something is wrong with my fav button; it will only let me fav it once! ;)
