Fall in Black Canyon

This vista is just down the street from where I live. My first visit here for a 365 photo was back in January, shortly after starting my project. I returned again in May and captured a very different scene. At that time I thought it would be nice to take a photo of the same view in all the seasons. The summer months flew by and I forgot to return until now. :( Oh well. Looks like I will have to try again next year!

Fantastic to have that nearby - I love the way the light has built up the shadows round the crags - isn't it amazing how changes in light can make somewhere look so different! I really think that's the main thing I've learned in this project

I thought this scenery was fantastic the first time I saw it, and the lighting in this shot is just beautiful. I think of the three, I prefer the winter shot. It's good to capture the changing seasons, and thanks for reminding us of those others.
