Well this is the church shot from the other side (Last week I was stood in front of the red / orange brick building on the left hand side of this frame.
The lead in lines include notice boards / blackboards for the tattoo shop and market cafe (which have both appeared in this months 365 too).
You can see the bright green leaves of the tree (which appeared as almost white blossom with the B/W conversion) and the curve of the church shows up better from this side.
Anyway I think I've exhausted my images of the Methodist church, but I did want to shoot this image from the 'other side; so you can see the tat and cafe signs :)
Bet the Methodists are delighted by the Tattoo poster! I like all the strong colours in this (including the grey) but I think I like the B & W more - might change my mind though.
Quite an amazing building ! I expect it very interesting inside too ...have they got seats round the edge etc ? You will have to do an inside shot next !!
@anron Anita, good call, 'snare drums'...the boys and girls brigade marching band practice in the church hall, so I think the church is used to 'snare drums' :)
@judithg Thanks Judith, colour or B/W?...it's a ladies prerogative to change her mind :)...I don't know how the tat, cafe and beauty parlour are allowed to advertise with notices propped up and tied to some bollards !!
I would never have guessed this was the same church. I think I like the b&w as it softens the color of the church with the neighboring buildings. Great to see what it really looks like. Nice shot.
Brilliant tie up with the other shots I saw the Tattoo sign before reading your write up and it made me chuckle - did you know that any ancient bodies found in the northern hemisphere that possess skin appear to be covered in tattoos so it clearly had great significance to them - religious in its widest sense!
This is another cracking shot!
