This Clematis climbs up a trellis that hides the side of our shed.
Lavender also lives around our shed too (see last weeks pictures)
Anyway this clematis flower has three petals missing. I like the viewpoint, looking skywards up through the wafer thin petals. 'Wafer thin' what a great expression to sneak into a 365 commentary :)
Anyway I hope you like the angle, colours and wide angle perspective. I think it looks a bit like helicopter blades :)
Finding it difficult at he moment to keep my 365 fresh ! Maybe I need a holiday ! Maybe not...there;'s always an interesting shot just around the corner !
I think you must have the prettiest shed in Nottingham - love these dark coloured clematis - I've a dark pink one that I'd like to do justice with in pic soon.
Wafer thin describes it beautifully & the best bit I like is the middle fronds sticking up against the sky !! You must have got down really low or this clematis is very tall !
Oh I seem to have missed this. It is a great shot for all the reasons you give it is a most satisfying shot - the balance of shapes. colours and textures is perfect. Top marks and a fav!
Wonderful perspective, really good. :-) Well, it may be sad for this Clematis to have lost three petals, but it also makes it special. If it still had all its petals, we couldn't see the blue sky in your picture... ;-)
