The back streets of Arnold by phil_howcroft

The back streets of Arnold

One of my occasional shots of the back streets of Arnold .

This is more a "short cut" from a car park to the main shopping street of Arnold. It runs by the side of what was once our local Coop, but is now a discount shop competing with Wilko's

You can just see the roof of the methodist church at the bottom of the short cut and the community hall attached to it

LIke your urban grit and the pram and B&W is really effective - Think I may be slightly incoherent - post cocktail commenting is risky.

Love your informal urban images. I feel like I am getting a peek into your world.

Love it in B&W. I wish I thought of that more often.

Amazing how b&w improves the look of quite boring places! This is very effective, lots of lovely lines too

really like this b&w Phil, great composition, for a real feel of real life about it. Arnold doesn't look very Christmassy!!
