Rriver Leen Culvert - Basford

I've been meaning to do this shot for a while.

I had to climb over a fence and scramble down the side of the embankment to take the shot . This was as low as I could get without slipping into the water.

Shot on my mobile and edited on my mobile,

The culvert is diverting the river around the tram stop / station.

I don't know what the locals thought about a 50 something bloke in his shirt / tie and smart trousers climbing down the bank to take a photo on his mobile !

It's a gritty urban scene worthy of a place on my 365.

It's a fabulous example and I wouldn't have known it was taken on a phone...but I wish I'd seen you

@swilde ha ha sue, i didn't linger long to take the shot. I did another shot with the tram station in the distance but the sky was a tad burnt out

Very similar to one I've been trying to get but too nervous about slipping on the steep and muddy bank! Well done!

It is absolutely worthy. I think the "locals" think we are all nuts! At least my neighbors are getting used to me using their yards as my playgrounds. My shot from yesterday was a big hit with the neighbor whose landscape I "borrowed" for my dandelions.

I can just see you scrambling down there...we are a mad lot! Mobile phones make following 365 much easier.....you can't always carry your camera. This is a fabulous shot, amazing how much detail, that water looks like treacle! They have gone to a lot of work diverting the river....might have been easier to move the station!
