Hurry Up Madam

Hurry Up Madam ! An elderly lady lady holding up the traffic as she crosses the junction between Upper and Lower Parliament Street

I've not posted a shot from the top deck / front seat of the No. 58 bus for quite some time. It made regular appearances in my first two years, so it is long overdue another appearance.

The thing is the buses have radically changed the design of the top deck and it is quite difficult to get a decent angle as they now have a big air vent blower between the seat and window and have also put a plastic strip across the window to allow them to display some logos to the outside world !
Awesome shot

Your camera takes decent street photos! Even through a bus window!

An iconic shot, a great shot to look back at in future times.

What a great street scene....love all the colors and activities. Love the light reflection on the street and the little lady has quite a stride!

Good for her. I hate it when pedestrians are made to rush across roads - vehicle users need more patience. Nice No.58 action.

The lady reminds me of Queen Elizabeth II, probably for the hairstyle. I like this street shot. Nobody is patient enough to allow old people cross a road.

Love all the life in this, Phil, great title. Poor love probably can't hurry up very much, people do get impatient but equally some pedestrians are inclined to launch themselves directly into the path of oncoming traffic!
