The snow still lingers around

It snowed on the 26th / 27th but the snow won't go away as the temperatures struggle to get above zero.

Three pics to capture the beauty and havoc the snow causes.

From top clockwise:
Redhill Fields
Walking in a Winter Woodland (bet you thought I was going to say Wonderland !!!)
The view from the 58 bus !!

Back to work today (Monday), the roads were still appalling as I dorve to work !

Not much fun having to drive in thoose conditions. Wouldn't it be great if snow didn't fall on roads and pavements?
Fab triptych, Phil, very nicely presented. I particularly like the shot bottom right, would love to see it as a stand-alone picture.

Br-r-r-r! Our snow usually falls in Jan. and Feb. Just as soon put it off as long as possible. Your pictures make it look lovely.

The white stuff is still saying away from us at the moment. I don't blame it -- it's probably too cold here.

I can't believe how much snow you have there, nowhere near that much here Phil. I especially like the top image.

Your lighting and composition are lovely in this collage of winter scenes. Looks cold, but with beautiful winter sunshine. I especially like the bottom right corner. The lines and trees in the top left are lovely...and the light is especially lovely in the bus ride shot. Brrrrrr indeed. Our temps are not too bad, but wind chill makes it freezing! Read to head out next week for a "bit" warmer days. Fav for me.

Great collage

We haven't had a 58 bus shot for ages Phil......the road condition looks bad! Great capture of the two walkers caught in silhouette & a fabulous sledging spot! We have no snow here only on the higher fells. Today has been glorious if treacherous with icy roads.

The virgin snow is so beautiful to see but it must be difficult to live with it day after day. I heard that in Gozo a boy had his wish come true yesterday when he built a snowman out of the ice that formed from a hail shower.

@phil_howcroft thank you, Phil. It looks absolutely great viewed large, love it, it's such a strong composition - the way the sky leads down to those two silhouetted figures is fab.
