I don't normally do car washes, but the local paper was giving away "free car was tokens" so we used the said tokens this morning.
I was worried how my wing mirror would behave in the car wash. It was vandalised when I went to watch Bolton Wanderers at Rotherham a couple of weeks ago.
It would have cost over £100+ to get a new one, but the garage recommended a little body shop lock up run by a nice Iranian man who bred canaries inside his lock up as well as doing his car repairs. He charged my £10 for the repair and did a neat job. The only issue is the mirror will no longer retract, so I was worried the car wash brushes would snap it off.
BTW the wing mirror is the nearside mirror not the drivers mirror as shown here
Hi Phil! Its true we never forget our 365 friends! I have often thought of you when scanning the footie results! So you have an Iranian canary breeder who mends cars.....how English!! lol
I was worried about you Phil. I hadn't seen you on 365 for some days. Glad to see you back, my friend. My latest resolution is never to wash the cars and that's because they get dirty immediately I wash or have them washed. Love all those water drops on the glass.
@Cherrill cherrill, i have an iranian friend who i used to work with in coventry / birmingham . Knowing the iranian community is not very big i emailed behnam to see if he knew majid the canary man , he said he thinks their wives are friends :-)
Very cool shot..love the bits of color in some of the drops. Great song too...and very catchy. Usually when we wash our cars it brings on the rain clouds!! Best we drive dirty cars.. hahahah!
