Bluebelle Macros by phil_howcroft

Bluebelle Macros

A macro study of Bluebelle's in our garden.

The bluebelle's appear on my 365 each year

Note the use of 'belle' in bluebelle.

I like to use belle rather than bell because they are indeed "belle". Maybe I should call them "bleubelle" as it sounds more exotic

Edited in rawtherapee, it is a bit noisy as the shot was hand held, so I had to bump up the ISO.

The nice blurry bokeh background is a heather bush.

This is exquisite. I think these must be the "belles" of your garden.

Beautiful, Phil. That soft light through the petals brings out the delicacy of the flowers perfectly.

Love that you used "belle"...they are so lovely they deserve to be presented in style! Lovely color, focus, and comp. Lovely background as well.

Like the stripe you've captured in the petals. Maybe they should be called campanulas hermosas - as I think they are.
