50 mono portraits at 50mm : No. 36 : Chatsworth Organ Grinder

This gentleman is an organ grinder.

He was plying his trade, well "turning the handle on his organ", to entertain the guests at Chatsworth House in Derbyshire today.

The easiest portrait of my series, I didn't have to ask, I just approached him with my camera and he posed for me. No words exchanged, just a little nod of approval from him.

I googled him and his name is Patrick Cooke, a well known organ grinder in the Peak District of Derbyshire.
