Birmingham International

This is Birmingham International Railway Station

A gateway to Birmingham airport and the National Exhibition Centre

Not the most photogenic gateway in the West Midlands !! Nice, isn't it ?

WE went to the BBC Gardner's World Live and Good Food Show at the NEC yesterday.

We went on the train as you get free wine tasting in the Food Hall. This is a couple of visitors waiting for their train home (southbound)

Oh and it poured down with rain mist of the day , which was a a tad disappointing for the garden section of the show

She looks like she has been sampling the wine too! A very interesting day though, we had friends who went last year & said it was wonderful! I like this shot.......the flowers sticking out of the bag are the best touch. Glad you kept the colour Phil....bet you almost didn't?

A former colleague at my school just landed in Birmingham on her way to The Asset Based Community Development Festival in Preston UK.

@happypat you are correct PAt, i was tempted to go mono, but the bright flowers look good against the bleakness of the station :)

Body language is so interesting! They did buy some plants. Perhaps some graffiti would make it more alive?

Nice candid shot of them. Looks as thought they bought some pretty blooms. She's looking a little distressed.

I remember Birmingham for the 'Bullring Shopping Mall'. Lovely candid. At least the girl isn't playing with her mob.

Well done. Like the lines of the building. The two just sit there doing their own thing.
