Many of my long term followers will know we like to go to the carnival to enjoy the costumes, colours and sounds of a people and community based event.
I've been post processing quite a few of my recent shots (especially the portraits) in RAW. The detail in the feathers really show up in this RAW file compared to the jpeg.
I'm not saying RAW is necessarily better, I think it depends on what we are shooting and what for as to whether we need RAW or not.
Fabulous costume and capture, gorgeous colours. One year I'll have to try and see the Notttingham carnival. Not that my shots could compare with yours but it looks an awesome carnival :-)
Yes, definite fav, fab capture and great processing.
I started shooting raw about 3 years ago and being a control freak, can't bear to return to j-pegs now. :-D

the reason I run out of space - I shoot raw and jpg ha ha
@annied so do I Annie, although I load all the jpegs , but only load the RAW files I intend to edit :-)
