Blur circa 1994 - Britpop

This is one of several entrances to Vernon Park in Basford and is on one of my regular lunchtime walk routes (I have 3 or 4 variations of my walk and don't decide which variation I do until I have crossed the bridge at Basford Tram Stop.

Shot with my Panny TZ7. I waited for the gentleman to walk into frame as I thought he added a little bit of dynamism and movement into the shot.

The man is out of uniform, I usually see him in his overall and high vis jacket and trolley. He is a street cleaner in Basford, emptying the litter bins and keeping our streets clean.

I am on nodding terms with him and I think he might make a good "stranger" for my "100 strangers series" (which seems to have stalled at 13 for the best part of a month)

Edited in GIMP / G'MIC with a black and white filter with pseudo greys bumped up to the maximum setting.

Thanks everyone for your comments and support. I have struggled to do any photos this week. It's been a grey and wet week in nottingham and dark by mid afternoon. December light is always bad for photos :( and today it rained all day at the football and was a car headlight on all day kind of day
