Happy New Year From Phil and his Bessie Mate (Ruby)

A Happy New Year to all my 365 friends from me and my bessie whippet mate. Well probably my only bessie mate :)

I asked Jane to take this shot...

"Make sure the red auto focus dot is on my eyes...
Try and make Ruby's ears stand up by talking to her...
Keep the camera steady because it is on a low shutter speed...
Move a bit closer..."

I think she did a decent job, although there is a bit of bokeh background of a 'graduation photo' behind me ..but a top job Jane :)

Edited in Rawtherapee, with an Ilford Pan F Plus 50 film emulation and shot on my 450D which gets a bit of grain above ISO 400 which can create a decent effect.
