When photographing Lena (one of my 100 Strangers portraits) yesterday, she told me that there was a film and television event at the Nottingham arena.
As I entered Bolero Square (named after Torville and Dean's dance), there was a line of Daleks trundling across the square.
This is a shot capturing the moment. I like the reaction between the young lad and the Dalek. I think he wants the Dalek to use his 'exterminate' gun.
Rather surreal is that if you view large you can see that the Daleks have "Cancer Research Collection Boxes" dangling from the suction arms and exterminator guns !
To change the subject, Phil. Even the U.S. papers are abuzz about Leicester winning English soccer title for 1st time in 132-yr history. Any insights or observations for me?
Well done to Leicester, Phil. I always tend to support the underdogs and this time I have been rewarded. Interesting street shot. Hope the Daleks didn't try to take you as one of their prisoners.
BTW I was much thinner than he is, Phil. Every now and then he starts going for long power walks to reduce his weight but after some time he gives up. Besides he has a good appetite.
