Goose Fair - Anticipation

We went to Goose Fair tonight, Nottingham's annual travelling fair , the largest in Britain by all accounts.

This is a hand held shot at ISO 1000. The shot is lit by the lights of the white knuckle ride.

These two young ladies seem rather cool and collected prior to the start of the ride. I don't think they would be quite so calm after the ride had finished !

Edited in Rawtherapee , with some tone mapping, curve adjustment and wavelet faffing around
